COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Shipley cottage is a detached home in the Doncaster area set in a semi rural setting close to local community facilities. The house is divided into three separate individual flats and provides care for adults with learning disabilities who may also have an autistic spectrum disorder, complex needs, and behaviour that challenge services. The separate facilities provide individual accommodation with one to one staffing for those who have difficulty living with other people, but who like to interact with others on their own terms.

Shipley cottage has had significant success in delivering a person centred service for individuals who have very complex needs, and who in the past, have had difficulty sustaining community based placements. The service provides each service user with an activity based lifestyle that enhances their skills and independence and enables them to participate in, and benefit from community living.

The Pleasance is a cluster of four detached houses set in a semi rural setting on the outskirts of Doncaster close to the local community facilities. The service provides care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour. The homes can provide for either separate individual accommodation for individuals' who have more intense needs, or for those with less intense needs shared housing is available based on staffing ratios of one staff to two service users. Each home is purpose built to high specifications and offers very spacious and modern living accommodation.

The staff at both Shipley Cottage and The Pleasance are very dedicated and committed to providing a person centred service that meets individual needs, each service user will have an individual care plan and structured activity programme that encourages personal development and social inclusion.

DOMICILIARY SUPPORT SERVICES


We are registered to provide domiciliary support to adults with learning disabilities who have their own tenancies within supported living schemes. We are developing this service to tender to provide for services across the South Yorkshire region inclusive of Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley.

Outreach services

As part of our Domiciliary Service we can also provide support as an outreach service to adults with learning disabilities who live independently in their own homes or with their family. A team of experienced support workers deliver a quality needs led service that strives to provide flexible community support tailored to the needs of the individual. We will undertake an assessment of need, which acknowledges individual choices together with the carer's views in liaison with the relevant agencies. With the benefit of 1:1 support we are able to focus on skill development and the promotion of independence and social inclusion.

CLINICAL PSYCHIATRIST


Cristal care have now engaged the services of a Clinical Psychiatrist. This is a reflection of our on-going commitment to providing the kind of service which will always exceed expectations.
